Win $10,000 Cash at the Reverse Drawing

Every year in August the Carteret County Chamber of Commerce puts on its only true fundraiser of the year, the Reverse Drawing event. Each year’s party has a different theme. Recent themes include: Disco Ball, Viva Las Vegas, and Mardi Gras. The event features the reverse drawing contest itself, where tickets are pulled one by one throughout the evening, leaving one lucky $10,000 winner at the end, along with a silent auction and party with music, food and and open bar. Everyone gets a free cab ride home as well!

The 2024 theme will be announced in the spring, and tickets will go on sale in late May or early June.

500 guests came out to dance under the disco ball at our 2023 Reverse Drawing. The final five ticket holders decided to split the $10,000 prize and took home $2,000 each.
