Business Beat
News, Announcements & Classified Ads from our Members
Business Beat goes on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. In this email we list what is happening with our members. Business Beat runs submissions for one week and accepts submissions in the following categories:
Member News: Big stories that the local business community needs to know. Has your business expanded into a new location? Received an award? Made a new C-level hire? Let us help you share the news! Send us a blurb of 150 words or a press release (we will summarize) with a photo and optional link, email or phone number. Photos only – no logos! News items will run one time. Submissions are not guaranteed to run.
Member Announcements: Brief news items that aren’t front page stories, but are of interest to our business community. Changes in services offered, hours open and charitable opportunities are good examples. Announcements should be 40 words or less and can include one link. You can feature your announcement at the top of the section and highlighted in yellow for $25 per email.
The Classifieds: Business-focused listings similar to the traditional classifieds section. In search of a commercial kitchen for rent? Have job openings to advertise? Office space to lease? This is the spot! Submissions should be 25 words or less plus one link or phone number. Classifieds will run two times. You can feature your classified for $10 per email.
How to Submit: If you’re a member and have information to include in Business Beat, email Taylor McCune at taylor@nccoastchamber.com by noon on the Friday before you want it to run. The Chamber reserves the right to edit all materials. Items will be included as space permits.
Sponsor Business Beat: Choose from two sponsorship placements: top billing at $60 or second billing (between the news and announcements sections) at $50. Business Beat is distributed via email to 1,500 contacts on our membership list. Contact Tessa Falcetta to reserve your sponsorship: tessa@nccoastchamber.com or 252-726-6350.
As a matter of policy, the Chamber declines to endorse specific products or services of its members. Similarly, the Chamber neither endorses nor supports any political candidate for elected office at the local, state or national level.
